FOOD PROJECTS

Food Build

Supply the money and shipping cost to assemble dehydrated, high protein, vitamin-fortified food packets. This is a great pre-trip team-building exercise. Each meal costs 25 cents to produce. Groups could start with a total of 20,000 meals for $5000 and could pack up to a full shipping container of 280,000 meals.

Once the meals are packed and shipped to Haiti, they are donated to a ministry called Hearts for the Hungry who distributes them to local churches, schools and orphanages. In many cases your team can help distribute the food in Haiti.
